Access Housing joined with fellow 2019 Australasian Housing Institute Professional Excellence in Housing (WA) award winners and members of the housing community yesterday to discuss and celebrate the award winning projects during the institute’s WA Housing Excellence Showcase.
The event provided an opportunity for attendees to hear about the inspiring award-winning projects and connect with industry colleagues at the AHI’s first networking event for 2020.
Access Housing celebrated individual, project and collaborative partnership award wins and high commendations at the 2019 Australasian Housing Institute Professional Excellence in Housing (WA) Awards ceremony. The company’s collaborative ‘How to Manage on a Low Income’ Financial Workshops claimed top honours in the ‘Leading Community Engagement Practice’ category and our South West Ageing in Place Housing Pilot Project received a High Commendation in the ‘Leading Housing Development Project’ category.
During the showcase, Access Housing Practice Consultant Alison Paterson (pictured above) discussed the strengths-based financial workshops model, while our General Manager Property Assets Duane Moroney (pictured below) provided an overview of the South West Ageing in Place Housing Pilot project, which delivered new affordable homes for seniors at Boyanup and Dardanup.
