Access Housing is pleased to announce the appointment of MercyCare’s Executive Director of Aged Care Services Rebecca Tomkinson to its Board of Directors.
Ms Tomkinson joins Access Housing with a diverse professional experience that includes government relations, strategic policy development, social advocacy and stakeholder management together with delivering key business growth initiatives in the government and non-government sectors.
Prior to joining MercyCare, Ms Tomkinson was the Chief Operating Officer for a large not-for-profit organisation, was Director of Government Relations for UnitingCare Australia and worked within Parliament House in Canberra as a Policy Advisor and Whips Clerk.
Ms Tomkinson is a fellow of Leadership WA and has more than 15 years’ experience working with private companies and national and local government organisations providing strategic planning advice, managing business development initiatives and building communication and marketing strategies.
Ms Tomkinson said she was delighted to be an Access Housing Director.
“Access Housing is a leading provider of affordable housing in Australia and it is a privilege to work with the Board on continuing to develop this essential service for our community,” Ms Tomkinson said.
Access Housing Chair David Lantzke said Ms Tomkinson brings additional elite level expertise to Access Housing’s Board.
“Rebecca is a highly credentialed professional with a wealth of experience across a number of sectors pertinent to Access Housing’s core business,” Mr Lantzke said.
