As a result of the evolving COVID-19 situation, a significantly increased number of tenants have been in contact with Access Housing to alert us to changes in their circumstances that may impact their weekly rent.
Access Housing staff are diligently working through these cases as tenants contact us to advise us of the changes to their circumstances.
Due to the significantly increased volume of notifications and inquiries to Access Housing from tenants about changes to their circumstances, we anticipate rent reviews will take longer to complete than usual. Access Housing is kindly asking tenants to be patient and understanding with us as we work through this significantly increased volume of work.
Rent reviews will be completed in order from the date Access Housing is advised by each tenant of the changes to their circumstances.
As we work through each case, tenants are also kindly asked to please not contact Access Housing for an update on their rent review, as this will slow the process further. When our staff are able to process your change of circumstances, they will contact you via telephone.
