Access Housing’s Home Choice shared equity program aims to help moderate income earning Western Australians into home ownership.
Developed by Access Housing in conjunction with Keystart, Home Choice assists eligible Western Australian residents to buy a home of their own by only paying 80% (conditions apply) of the purchase price. Access Housing retains a maximum of 20% equity in Home Choice properties at the time of sale. Through this initiative, upfront purchase costs and loan repayments are lower because a portion of the property’s ownership is held by Access Housing. Keystart’s role in the program sees them provide mortgages to successful applicants.
Access Housing currently has two properties available for purchase through the Home Choice program. Click here to learn more about the homes for sale.
The Home Choice program is accessible to all eligible Western Australian residents – including Access Housing tenants – looking to move into affordable home ownership.
