Access Housing CEO Garry Ellender

The roll-out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme will provide people with disability with greater opportunities, choice and control in their lives. The scheme’s Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Policy and Pricing is an important step forward in developing and stimulating the development of the housing market to ensure people with disability have choice over where they live and with whom.

The forum will discuss how the SDA works and what the implications are on the housing and disability service sectors in Western Australia. It will also explore the key issues each sector faces in relation to implementing the SDA Policy and Pricing framework and stimulating the housing market; and critical areas of research, exploration and partnership.
