Access Housing is delighted to confirm its first affordable housing development project in Baldivis at Lot 153 Nairn Drive has received planning approval from the City of Rockingham and the Western Australian Planning Commission.
The 51 dwelling development, to which BGC are providing design and marketing services, will yield a blend of affordable and innovatively designed one and two bedroom units, some of which have National Rental Affordability Scheme incentives attached. A number of units within the development have also been specifically designed to accommodate people with disabilities seeking affordable, built for purpose housing.
The project will be Access Housing’s 11th affordable housing development project and will be known as Jervis Rise.
Access Housing Chief Executive Officer Garry Ellender said the project will provide the perfect opportunity for a range of people to access affordable housing in Baldivis.
“This exciting development is conveniently located close to the Baldivis town centre and a range of amenity services including public transport routes,” Mr Ellender said.
“Sale prices will start at less than $300,000, which helps ensure people on low to moderate incomes, first home buyers and others seeking affordable housing in Baldivis can access what has become one of Australia’s fastest growing suburbs.”
Project sales and marketing will commence in May, with construction to commence shortly thereafter. Please contact Access Housing Realty on 9430 0980 for more information on project sales.
