Access Housing will have a strong presence at the National Housing Conference in Perth later this year.
The 2015 event will be held from 28-30 October at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre with the theme being ‘opening doors’. The biennial conference, which is convened by the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute, is the largest cross-sectoral housing meeting in Australasia.
This year’s conference is being held at a time of great uncertainty for the sector. Political upheaval and funding uncertainly, combined with substantial rises in the cost of land and housing and an increase in demand for front-line services, are just a few of the pressures facing the sector.
More than 800 industry professionals are expected to attend including affordable housing service providers, policy makers, builders, financiers, researchers, planners and developers.
Access Housing will be exhibiting its services to conference delegates throughout the event at exhibition booth 30. It will also have delegates in attendance across each day of the conference to ensure its staff contribute to discussions surrounding, and remain well informed of, the pressing issues, opportunities, innovations and ideas within the affordable housing sector.
