Access Housing in the running for WA AHI Awards

9 Apr 2019

Access Housing is a finalist for multiple WA-state awards as part of the 2019 Australasian Housing Institute Professional Excellence in Housing Awards program.

The Australasian Housing Institute Awards provide an opportunity to showcase social housing success stories. The awards formally recognise and reward excellence in professional practice, from the grassroots to the most senior levels and promote the difference that social housing professionals make to people’s lives. The awards program features eight award categories for individuals and teams working in the social housing industry, as well as for tenants.

Access Housing is a finalist for the ‘Leading Community Engagement Practice’ category award for our ‘How to manage on a low-income’ financial workshops and for the ‘Leading Housing Development Project’ category award for our South West Ageing in Place Housing Pilot Project. Staff member Paul Harris is also in the running for the Inspirational Team Member Award.
