Access Housing’s Jervis Rise development is a national finalist in the ‘Best Affordable Housing Development’ category at the 2019 Property Council of Australia/Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation & Excellence Awards that will be presented in Sydney this Friday night.
The Property Council of Australia awards program is one of the most prestigious in the Australian property sector, promoting excellence in design and innovation in the built environment since 1982.
Jervis Rise’s Property Council of Australia award nomination is the second in as many years for Access Housing, with the company claiming the ‘Best Affordable Housing Development’ category award in 2018 for our Haven @ Rockingham development.
Completed in August 2017, Jervis Rise was the first medium density housing development around the Baldivis town centre and introduced diverse, upscale and affordable apartment living into an area typically characterised by single homes.
An impressive three storey development offering 51 affordable 1 and 2-bedroom homes, Jervis Rise provides a range of demographics including singles, couples, investors and downsizers/rightsizers with the kind of quality medium density housing traditionally enjoyed by residents of inner-city areas.
Being located within a suburb that is predominantly comprised of traditional housing and house and land packages, Jervis Rise represents a significant, socially responsible shift in housing in the Baldivis area, increasing much-desired urban infill and offering a welcomed residential diversity. It also offers views over Tamworth Reserve and is near a range of shops, schools, parks, public transport and other amenity services.
Jervis Rise claimed the prestigious 2017 Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA) Award for Excellence in the ‘Affordable Development’ category in September 2017 and was a finalist in the same category at the national 2018 UDIA awards.
