Access Housing had much to celebrate in 2019. We added new homes to our rental portfolio, celebrated individual, project and collaborative partnership award wins, established new – and strengthened existing – relationships with other community service organisations to further assist our tenants and commenced exciting and collaborative new programs and initiatives for our tenants.
Most importantly, we provided secure, affordable homes to more than 3,000 low-moderate income earning Western Australians in 2019. Our highly valued clients included seniors, people living with a disability or severe and persistent mental health challenge, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, families and singles.
For the second year in a row, tenants gave Access Housing an excellent overall satisfaction rating of 90% in 2019. This rating is 15% higher than the satisfaction threshold set by the National Regulatory System for Community Housing.
