It is important that you let us know if your property needs repairs or maintenance.
One of our friendly and experienced staff members will assist you.

EMERGENCIES

Outside of office hours, please ring 1800 203 383 to report emergencies.

Emergencies are classified as repairs that are needed to fix a problem that is a danger to you, or if not fixed immediately would cause serious damage to the property.

Typical examples of emergency repairs include:
  • Total loss of power
  • Gas Leak
  • Severe storm damage
  • Flooding, including major plumbing faults
  • Problems preventing security or allowing access to your property.
Other emergency numbers
  • Electricity                           13 13 51
  • Gas                                    13 13 52
  • Water                                13 13 75
  • State Emergency Service   13 25 00
Please note: When responding to an emergency, we will only carry out essential work to prevent the situation becoming worse. Any repair work will not normally be possible until the following working day.

Using this service for non-emergencies may prevent real emergencies being dealt with and may result in you being charged for the after-hours callout costs.

Ongoing maintenance

Generally, most maintenance required is likely to be ongoing maintenance. These repairs tend to be small and do not greatly affect how you live in the property. Our maintenance staff will arrange the repair in the most effective and efficient manner, which may not be right away.

Planned maintenance

The property services team is responsible for all the ongoing cyclical work and improvement programs carried out by Access Housing. These include our kitchen and bathroom upgrades, floor coverings, painting and other identified refurbishments.

Tenant initiated improvements or changes

If you want to make any changes to your property, you will need to put your request in writing. We will consider your request in line with policy and will provide a written response. Access Housing will not pay for any changes that you make to the property if it is not within our policy or budget, or is deemed not necessary.

Maintenance survey

We value your feedback. We are undertaking a maintenance survey to assess the quality of our services. If you have recently had maintenance completed, please take the time to complete the survey and return it to your local office.

At Access Housing, we are always seeking to improve our services. Your feedback is valuable and we appreciate your time in completing this survey.
